Marabu charcoal has excellent heating qualities, does not produce sparks and is durable compared to other softer, semi-hard woods. It is uniform in color, has the characteristic “canutillo” shape and creates a pronounced metallic sound when burned. The combustion is very slow, therefore, it is particularly suitable for open coals (Josper Basque Grill, Robatagrill and Josper Brass Forni). Due to its pleasant aroma it is suitable for white fish and vegetable meats.
