Our export manager, Marcelo Castiglioni, confirmed\nRaymond Blanc&#8217;s visit and his exclusive participation in the JOSPER Grilling\nExperience. Not only has it been an honour for the JOSPER team to enjoy his\nexperience and savoir-faire, but also to have the opportunity to share a day\nwith him in Barcelona and to be able to see first hand how his senses react to\nour gastronomic charcoal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those\nunfamiliar with the name, Raymond Blanc is one of the world&#8217;s leading chefs. Of\nFrench origin, Monsieur Blanc is greatly recognised in the United Kingdom,\nwhere he runs the idyllic restaurant at the Le Manoir aux Quat&#8217;Saisons hotel, a\ngourmet stronghold in the English countryside with two Michelin stars, and\nRaymond Blanc&#8217;s Cookery School, one of Britain&#8217;s most prestigious schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First thing in\nthe morning, the day already promised to be unique. After a stroll through the\nhistoric centre of Barcelona, Ciutat Vella and the Gothic Quarter, Marcelo and\nMonsieur Blanc walked up the Rambla to the gastronomic-social heart of\nBarcelona, the Mercat de la Boqueria, as he himself immortalised on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote style=\"text-align:left\" class=\"wp-block-quote twitter-tweet is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Marcelo, my Guide, head of International sales of Josper. We did our shopping. Now, lets cook <a href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/jy037REItN\">pic.twitter.com\/jy037REItN<\/a><\/p><p>\u2014 Raymond Blanc (@raymond_blanc) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/raymond_blanc\/status\/555322373822763009\">enero 14, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;A pleasure\nfor the senses!&#8221; he told us a few hours later. The first strawberries of\nthe season delighted his palate, as well as the highly-appreciated fresh fish\nand seafood displayed at market stalls, which would soon be cooked for him in a\nJOSPER oven. After some wine and tapas in El Quim de la Boqueria, the Chef asked\nhimself on Twitter if it would be possible to find such quality products in\nLondon someday. His British followers responded and proposed some recognised\nLondon markets as an alternative to Barcelona. The twitter-savvy Blanc posted\nprovocative and exciting tweets as he strolled around the largest larder of\nfresh products that many would like to have in their own kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote twitter-tweet is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Fresh local gambles ,caught a few hours ago .Can we dream to ave such a market in London one day ? <a href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/cVtb2DR6VQ\">pic.twitter.com\/cVtb2DR6VQ<\/a><\/p><p>\u2014 Raymond Blanc (@raymond_blanc) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/raymond_blanc\/status\/555306829807628288\">enero 14, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><script charset=\"utf-8\" type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\"> Back at the JOSPER Showroom, Blanc let himself be carried away by the passion for grilling, helping to start up the oven and tasting dishes as diverse and flavourful as grilled mussels, charcoal-grilled rice and smoky grilled leek vichyssoise, among many others. Each one of them was made using techniques and cooking temperatures specific to JOSPER ovens. This establishment offers\na unique gastronomic experience and is part of Albert Adri\u00e0's commitment to\nbringing haute cuisine and the daily consumption of fresh, quality products\ncloser to the customer. This last culinary experience was the icing on the cake\non this very special day, both for Marcelo and for the whole JOSPER team, and\nhopefully also for Chef Raymond Blanc.
